Dashboard built on open government data to track economic indicators by state.

The problem
Public data exists, but it's scattered across several portals and formats.
What I did
- Wrote a Python script that downloads and standardizes the datasets every month.
- Modeled the data by state and period.
- Published a dashboard with a map, a ranking and a time series.
Result
A single dashboard, updated monthly, that anyone can explore.
Open data projects are a great way to build a portfolio without exposing company data.
